Frequently asked questions
How much lemonade do I need for 50 guests?
Plan on roughly 6–8 gallons for a 2-hour event indoors, or 9–12 gallons outdoors in warm weather. That's about 1.5 to 2 cups per guest per hour.
How much lemonade for 100 guests?
About 12–16 gallons for a 2-hour indoor event, and 18–24 gallons for an outdoor summer event. Always round up — leftover lemonade is better than running out.
How much lemonade for 150 guests?
Roughly 18–24 gallons indoors over 2 hours, or 27–36 gallons outdoors. For weddings with a 4-hour reception, double those numbers.
How many lemons per gallon of lemonade?
About 5–7 lemons per gallon for classic hand-pressed lemonade. For 100 guests at 16 gallons, plan on 90–110 lemons.
Does outdoor weather really change the amount?
Yes. Guests drink 30–50% more lemonade outdoors in Atlanta summer heat (85°F+) than they do at an air-conditioned indoor event. Plan accordingly.
